Description: The Foundry Networks E1MG-CWDM80-1490, is a Mini GBIC(Fiber to copper) expansion plug in module with a throughput of 1 Gbps. It is designed to work on ethernet 1000 base LX networks . The unit uses a 1490 Nm laser which has a range of 80kms. The unit can multiplex data on a SMF fiber using CWDM technology. The EdgeIron E1MG-CWDM80-1490 EdgeIron SFP modules are hot pluggable and this makes the unit very flexible for network expansion. The Foundry Networks E1MG-CWDM80-1490 meets all IEEE802.3z Gigabit Ethernet standards and is fully SFP MSA compliant. The E1MG-CWDM80-1490 unit uses a small form pluggable package(SFP) which makes it highly portable and effective. The E1MG-CWDM80-1490 unit has a single LC mode interface for seamlessly interfacing with an existing network system.
